9th In The Union is based off the core values of an old school Riding Club (RC). We are a non-territorial RC. We are NOT a 1% club nor do we pretend to be. We are bikers who have united together for great times, riding and a strong brotherhood. We accept members from all walks of life. All members are expected to be law abiding and drug

We DO NOT tolerate any conduct that discredits the club in any way. Brotherhood, friendship and riding are the major priorities of the club.
9th In The Union is a law abiding non-territorial riding club of men & woman from all walks of life who share a dedication to the biker lifestyle and to each other. Our goal is to enjoy friendship through our common bond of;

Hang around time, prospecting and compatibility period is required. This gives you a chance to see if we are a right fit for you and you are a right fit for us.

Club attire to be worn on all club business and rides. Club patches will be presented on full membership to the club. Other 9th IN THE UNION attire can be worn with approval and at member's own cost.
Motorcycles are to be ridden to all club events, weather permitting.
Must be clean and sober at all club events.
No dishonesty of any kind is allowed.
Always treat the club and other members with respect.
Members should always be there for another member.
The club will always stay together on a ride. Member will be required to notify the Road Captain, President, VP, or Sergeant At Arms of need to leave the ride early. First offence will be fineable, second subject to suspension.
A full member cannot belong to another riding club, with the exception of a HOG chapter.
All members must attend at least 4 chapter meetings and 5 riding activities per year.
Failure to do so will result in being put on probation where you will be given a chance to explain to member in good standings, why you were not able to meet the requirements.
It will take an 80% vote to be taken off probation.

If your vote doesn't pass, you will be suspended from the club for at least 1 year with opportunity to reapply.
Members will automatically be terminated for being behind in dues for more than 2 months.
Breaking the code of conduct will also result in termination if found guilty by members in good standings.
NON MEMBER:
Must be in a committed relationship of one or more years with a full member in good standing.

Officer positions are considered at-will. This means as long as an officer has the will to continue in his/her position and the club is willing to have him/her keep their office, no defined period of time will be set.
If a Club member in good standing believes they would like an officer's position, they can ask for a vote of no confidence.

At the time, the officer currently in that position can do one of two things:
1. Step down as an officer and the member asking for a vote will assume that officers duties.
2. Current officer can represent an election to be held within 30 days of the challenge.
During those 30 days, each person can state their case as to why they would be better suited for the office. Club members should be civil to other members running and highlight why they would do a better job and not be negative to other club members.
After 30 days, the Club will hold an election with a simple majority vote being the winner.
Elections held in person will be done by ballet and if the Club cannot meet within 30 days to vote, it will be done by email with votes being sent to 2 primary officers.
To be a primary officer i.e. President, VP, Secretary or Sergeant At Arms, and you must be a member in good standing for at least 3 years. Current officers are excluded from such requirements. All other officer positions must be members in good standing for at least 6 months.
Club President will review with each officer how they are doing as an officer and officer suggestions as how to help with duties.
