Officer positions are considered at-will. This means as long as an officer has the will to continue in his/her position and the club is willing to have him/her keep their office, no defined period of time will be set.

If a Club member in good standing believes they would like an officer's position, they can ask for a vote of no confidence.

At the time, the officer currently in that position can do one of two things:

1. Step down as an officer and the member asking for a vote will assume that officers duties.

2. Current officer can represent an election to be held within 30 days of the challenge.

During those 30 days, each person can state their case as to why they would be better suited for the office. Club members should be civil to other members running and highlight why they would do a better job and not be negative to other club members.

After 30 days, the Club will hold an election with a simple majority vote being the winner.

Elections held in person will be done by ballet and if the Club cannot meet within 30 days to vote, it will be done by email with votes being sent to 2 primary officers.

To be a primary officer i.e. President, VP, Secretary or Sergeant At Arms, and you must be a member in good standing for at least 3 years. Current officers are excluded from such requirements. All other officer positions must be members in good standing for at least 6 months.
