Responsibilities
PRESIDENT Responsibilities
- Is in charge of all aspects of the club.
- To help all officers understand and carry out their responsibilities.
- To act as a spoke person to any outside organization.
- Promotes club and its members.
- Does not make motions or seconds them.
- Does not vote on motions unless to break a tie.
- Works with VP to make sure one clear message is being presented to club members or any outside organization.
VICE PRESIDENT Responsibilities
- Work with President that one clear message is presented to other officers and club members.
- Relays information between President, officers and club members.
- Second in command and will assume all duties of the president in his absence.
- Works with Treasure to make sure good records are being kept on all financial matters.
- Assist all other officers to assure club mission is being followed.
- Decide if club member will be brought before club members for code of conduct violation.
- Work with President on agenda of monthly meeting and present to full club members.
SERGEANT At ARMS Responsibilities
- Makes certain to uphold all club rules and code of conduct.
- Defends and protects the club and its members and is directly responsible for safety.
- Makes sure that order is kept at all club meetings and events.
- Notify club members when its is time to ride and makes sure members are ready.
- Retrieve all club material from any member on probation or left the club.
- Assist Road Captains on rides as instructed by Road Captains.
SECRETARY Responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping all club records, written reports and correspondence within or without outside organizations.
- Calls role at meetings and takes notes
- Responsible to notify any member of special meetings.
- Maintains all records of the club and notifies members of any rule changes.
TREASURER Responsibilities
- Keep all financial records and will review with VP.
- Collects all forms of income.
- Responsible for paying bills and expenses from club funds.
- Report financial status to club each month.
LEAD ROAD CAPTAIN Responsibilities
- Make sure all members meet club riding standards.
- Oversee all Road Captains and their ability to lead rides.
- Make sure the yearly ride schedule is put together with the help of club members.
- Meet with prospect's and new member on group ride techniques.
- Managing who will be leading rides and assist.
- Managing Road Captains ride load (making sure burden is spread out)
ROAD CAPTAIN Responsibilities
- Works with Lead Road Captain on yearly ride schedule.
- Plan and leads rides,
- Helps with Lead Road Captain on making sure all members are up to club riding standards.
- Inform and makes sure all club members are ready to ride.
TAIL GUNNER Responsibilities
- Rides sweep on club rides.
- Work with Lead Road Captain and assist Road Captain on rides and making sure all members are meeting club riding standards.
- Ensures all riders in the group remain with the group.
- Makes sure all club members are with the group when leaving parking lot, and all members leave in efficient manner.
- Help Lead Road Captain building the yearly ride schedule.
COMPLIANCE OFFICER Responsibilities
- Makes sure all members and potential members meet club requirements (MC endorsement on drivers license, Insurance, AMA membership).
- Keep club stock (patches).
- Officer in charge for giving out patches when prospects achieve full member status.
MEMBER
- Is a person who has earned their patch and is allowed to attend club meetings/events and has full voting rights.
- Expected to uphold mission statement and code of conduct at all times.
- Always expected to treat other members with respect.
- Should try to bring a level of exactment to all club events and desire to make club events better.
